Day 1 : Crazy to difficult winds

Day 2 : MTA/trick perfect, Endurance difficult.

This increasingly popular beach tournament has a great attendance at the end of the throwing season hosted by Tony 'Toncho' Enev.

The location is lovely - a compact 45m beach framed by the harbour and open sea. 50m Aussie round is not possible (unless you are happy with your boomerang just missing a concrete wall and some boat masts!)

2011 saw the best turn out for the 6th year of the event, with many throwers from Germany, Spain and the UK.

For the 2nd year running, the wind was very challenging. During Aussie round it was probably at its worst, gusting over 30kph. Difficult was not the word. Some extremely experienced throwers were calling on all their skill just to get a catch and score.

Day 2 a quick start to make the most of near windless conditions that just allowed for MTA and trick to complete with winds picking up at around 11am.

Martin from the UK said it was the best fun tournament he had attended for a long time and we have to agree! Book early next year to avoid disappointment!
